Payroll Officer
Site Merauke
Key Responsibility
- As Payroll Officer you will report directly to HR Operation Head
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including salary calculations, overtime, deductions, BPJS, and tax (PPh 21).
- Ensure accurate and complete employee attendance and payroll data.
- Prepare and submit monthly payroll reports to management.
- Handle tax reconciliations and submit monthly and annual tax reports in accordance with Indonesian regulations.
- Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll professionally and promptly.
- Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of employee data and salary information.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Payroll Officer, preferably in a site-based or similar industry.
- Good knowledge of Indonesian payroll regulations, labor laws, BPJS (Kesehatan & Ketenagakerjaan), and tax (PPh 21).
- Proficient in payroll software and HRIS systems (experience with [name your system] is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently in a dynamic site environment.
- Willing to be based full-time at Merauke site.
