General Affair Officer

Key Responsibility

  • As a General Affair Officer you will be direct report to General Affair Asistant Manager
  • Manage site office facilities, staff housing (mess), and supporting infrastructure
  • Coordinate daily logistical needs, including office supplies, consumables, and equipment
  • Maintain accurate asset records and oversee asset distribution and maintenance at the site
  • Organize company transportation, including vehicle scheduling and employee travel support
  • Liaise with local vendors and contractors for services such as cleaning, security, catering, etc.
  • Support internal events such as training, site visits, and staff gatherings
  • Monitor and report on GA-related expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness
  • Ensure all GA operations comply with company policies and local regulations

Qualification

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Management, or related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in General Affairs, preferably in plantation, mining, or other remote site-based industries
  • Strong coordination and communication skills
  • Able to work independently in a remote or isolated work environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Good understanding of asset management, facility upkeep, and on-site logistics
  • Discipline, adaptability, and strong sense of responsibility
