Payroll Officer

Key Responsibility

  • As Payroll Officer you will report directly to HR Operation Head
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including salary calculations, overtime, deductions, BPJS, and tax (PPh 21).
  • Ensure accurate and complete employee attendance and payroll data.
  • Prepare and submit monthly payroll reports to management.
  • Handle tax reconciliations and submit monthly and annual tax reports in accordance with Indonesian regulations.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of employee data and salary information.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Payroll Officer, preferably in a site-based or similar industry.
  • Good knowledge of Indonesian payroll regulations, labor laws, BPJS (Kesehatan & Ketenagakerjaan), and tax (PPh 21).
  • Proficient in payroll software and HRIS systems (experience with [name your system] is a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently in a dynamic site environment.
  • Willing to be based full-time at Merauke site.
